Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (MXC) is an American sports comedy television program that aired on TNN/Spike TV from April 19, 2003 to February 9, 2007.
This critically acclaimed comedy series can thank a popular Japanese game show from the 1980s for much of its success. It uses the actual footage from `Takeshi's Castle', which tested contestants' pain threshold by putting them through a series of bizarre physical challenges (think ABC's `Wipeout' but much more extreme) and crazy games for prizes. The fun, and much of the laughter, in `MXC Takeshi' is provided by the dubbed English narration, featuring voice actors from the Groundlings comedy troupe, that has no resemblance to the original show's dialogue whatsoever.
