Today we play an incremental that has an infinite skill tree. Yes, you heard that right: an infinite skill tree. While the concept itself is a ton of fun to explore and figure out what exists as unique upgrades and how to use them, one question appears relatively fast: why? Why do you need an infinite skill tree? Is it actually an infinite skill tree if experience rate cripples you rather fast and doesn't allow you to buy a lot of upgrades, so it quickly feels like you are rather opening a box of upgrades and pick out a few you want? Don't get me wrong, I think the concept is fun and cool, but the concept also has flaws with it that are hard to fix due to the nature of infinite upgrades - and I honestly have no good suggestions. Still, it was interesting to explore and fun to play...at least until it felt very repetetive.
