El recluso que semanas atrás escapó del Hospital General de Tijuana fue detenido tras enfrentarse en un ataque armado con policías municipales en la zona de Otay.
El operativo inició luego de un presunto intento de asalto y concluyó en el estacionamiento de un supermercado, donde el fugitivo presuntamente disparó contra los agentes. Tras ser lesionado, fue asegurado y trasladado bajo custodia a un hospital.
