Oft wissen wir schon Wochen vor dem Release, was ein Spiel wirklich taugt – dürfen es euch aber erst verraten, wenn das offizielle Embargo fällt! Und als wäre das nicht genug, gibt es oft noch strenge Video-Regeln, wie aktuell bei Resident Evil Requiem, an die wir uns zwingend halten müssen.
Aber was genau sind Embargos und NDAs überhaupt? Warum diktieren Publisher solche Auflagen für den Umgang mit Vorab-Informationen? Wieso schlucken wir Tester diese Vorgaben – und an welchem Punkt sagen wir als Redaktion ganz klar: „Bis hierhin und nicht weiter“?
