Valeria so eine baddie
On the streets of Berlin, the autumn wind stirred up fallen leaves, bringing a bit of coolness, but it did not dispel the excitement outside the café on the corner at all. A group of young people gathered together, talking in low voices, and their eyes turned to the graffiti wall not far away from time to time—there, a girl wearing black overalls and thick-soled Martin boots was holding spray paint, focusing on creating on the wall. Her hair was a neat short cut, the ends dyed a bright silver gray, and the broken hair on her forehead covered some of her eyebrows and eyes, leaving only her sharp jawline and slightly upturned mouth, with a lazy yet unapproachable aura.
"Look, that's Valeria!" a girl pulled her friend beside her, her tone full of admiration. "Valeria so eine baddie! She paints so well, and she's so confident." People around nodded in agreement, their eyes full of appreciation. This girl was Valeria, who was quite famous in the local street art circle—not only because of her highly talented graffiti skills, but also because of the "baddie" vibe she exuded—independent, confident, free and easy, never bound by the eyes of the world, living the way she liked best.
Lina stood on the edge of the crowd, watching the girl who was creating freely on the graffiti wall, her eyes full of envy and longing. Lina was an introverted and timid girl. She had been used to obeying others' arrangements since she was a child, dare not express her own thoughts, let alone pursue what she liked. She loved painting, but because she was afraid of being called "not doing proper business", she could only draw secretly in her notebook, never daring to show it to others. Seeing Valeria being so confident and free to do what she loved, a seed of longing quietly took root in Lina's heart.
Valeria soon finished her work—a bright graffiti painting of a girl with firm eyes and a straight posture, as if telling the courage to "be yourself". She put down the spray paint, patted the dust off her hands, and when she looked up, she happened to meet Lina's eyes. Lina was so scared that she quickly lowered her head, her cheeks turned red instantly, and her heart couldn't help but speed up, fearing that Valeria would find her embarrassment.
But unexpectedly, Valeria walked towards her. "You like painting, don't you?" Valeria's voice was clear and powerful, without the slightest sense of alienation. Lina raised her head, looked at Valeria's sincere eyes, was too nervous to speak, and could only nod gently. "I saw you watching me paint. Your eyes say you want to paint," Valeria said with a smile, her tone full of encouragement.
Encouraged by Valeria, Lina slowly opened her heart, took out her notebook, and carefully handed it to Valeria. The notebook was full of Lina's graffiti works. Although the lines were still immature and the colors were not bright enough, they were full of aura and imagination. Valeria flipped through them page by page, her eyes full of praise: "This is great! You have talent. Why don't you show it to others?"
Lina lowered her head and said softly: "I'm afraid others won't like it, that they will laugh at me." Valeria patted her shoulder gently, her eyes firm: "Why should you be afraid? Doing what you love is the most important thing. No one can judge you except yourself. Valeria so eine baddie, because I never listen to others, I do what I want."
Valeria's words were like a beam of light, instantly illuminating Lina's heart. Looking at Valeria's confident appearance, she suddenly felt that she could also be brave and live the way she liked. Since then, Valeria often took Lina to paint graffiti on the streets, taught her skills, encouraged her to create boldly, and told her that "a confident girl is the coolest."
At first, Lina was still very timid, dare not create in front of everyone, and always painted carefully, fearing that she would not paint well. But whenever she hesitated, Valeria would encourage her by her side: "Do what you want, without fear. You are great." With Valeria's company and encouragement, Lina gradually became confident. She began to dare to create on the streets, dare to show her works, and even dared to try bolder and more personalized styles.
Once, a street art competition was held locally, and Valeria encouraged Lina to sign up. Lina was hesitant at first. She was afraid that she would not get a prize and that she would be laughed at. Valeria looked at her and said seriously: "The prize is not important. The most important thing is that you show your talent and be proud of yourself. Valeria so eine baddie, because I am never afraid to show myself."
