GoldenEye 007 für Nintendo 64 war eigentlich ein riskantes Lizenzspiel mit verspätetem Release, kleinem Team und chaotischer Entwicklung. Trotzdem wurde Rares Bond-Shooter zu einem Meilenstein, weil er Ego-Shooter auf Konsolen salonfähig machte, Split-Screen-Multiplayer im Wohnzimmer prägte und mit Missionen, KI-Verhalten und Stealth-Elementen weit mehr bot als simples Geballer. Wir zeigen, wie GoldenEye 007 trotz aller Probleme zum Kultspiel wurde, warum Oddjob bis heute berüchtigt ist und weshalb der Klassiker 2025 in die World Video Game Hall of Fame aufgenommen wurde.
