Solar Expanse E1: European Orbital Shipyards and Lunar Colony (and near bankruptcy)
Solar Expanse puts you in control of a National Space Agency (or private corporation) as you explore and industrialise space for humanity from 2020 through to centuries in the future.
Unlike a game like Terra Invicta, the main enemy here isn't an alien invader - it's commercial competitors and the budget office of your agency providing you instructions and funding to reach particular goals.
Of course, I'm going to ignore those instructions and start blowing the entire budget on what I *think* we should be doing instead of what we were actually funded to do. That Mars 2022 transfer window isn't going to hit itself and we're going to spend most of the the lunar exploration budget to get there.
Note the game is in early access but this footage was recorded on an earlier version so is missing some of the rebalancing, improvements and replacement of placeholder art assets that has been included in recent patches.
