The Prototype is the main antagonist of Poppy Playtime. He was first mentioned in the Chapter 1 Official Trailer before appearing in Chapter 1: A Tight Squeeze as the topic of a VHS tape, conjecturally known as the "Final Log." He made his first physical appearance in Chapter 2: Fly in a Web. He is also featured in Chapter 3: Deep Sleep and Chapter 4: Safe Haven. He appears in Chapter 5: Broken Things as its main antagonist. The voice that directs Huggy Wuggy in PROJECT: PLAYTIME may be that of The Prototype.
