I Tried Speedrunning naneinf...
Hey folks! In today’s video we’re back with more high score Balatro. For this video, I was trying something a bit different practicing the speedrun friend of the channel @adef will be doing for Games Done Quick next week which I’ll be commentating. The run starts using the Brainstorm mod to ensure a Perkeo and Overstock in the first Ante but the rest of the playthrough is entirely blind from there. This was my first attempt and, unfortunately, many of the necessary pieces were not fewer than 100 cards deep in the Shop for the first 15 Antes, requiring some creative plays and resulting in a lot of time loss. Balatro is a poker roguelike deck building game centered around creating powerful synergies and winning with big hands. In it, you can combine valid poker hands with unique Jokers in order to create varied synergies and builds. No real money is involved, but you can earn enough chips to beat blinds, including challenging boss blinds, to make it to the next ante and progress your run!
