We’re officially back in HumanitZ after nearly a year away — and not just back, but jumping in with exclusive early access to the massive 1.0 update.

This is a full revisit to HumanitZ as the game finally exits Early Access, bringing a completely overhauled survival experience. Since our last time playing, the game has evolved in a big way — with new character models, deeper skill trees, professions, afflictions, a brand-new infection system, revamped combat, improved gunplay, expanded quests, special ammo types, and a completely reworked world map.

We’ve also missed major additions along the way, including horses, upgraded apocalypse vehicles, new weapons, traps, world POIs, quality-of-life changes, and a huge number of immersion upgrades — all of which we’ll be experiencing firsthand in this stream.

The infection system is now far more dangerous and tactical, death carries real consequences, ranged combat has been expanded with recoil, jamming, and manual ammo management, and survival now requires smarter planning than ever before. The world itself has been expanded, reshaped, and filled with new locations, quests, and endgame content — including access to The Island.

This is our first look at HumanitZ 1.0, revisiting the game with fresh eyes, a fresh save, and seeing just how much has changed since Early Access.

If you’re a fan of hardcore zombie survival, open-world sandboxes, and long-form survival progression, this is where the journey starts again.
